Brightshores Health System (BHS) is hosting their 10th annual Mental Health and Addictions Coffee House later this month.
BHS, which primarily serves Grey and Bruce counties, has themed this year's event, 'Dare to Share and Shatter the Silence.'
Everyone is welcome.
In a May 21 media release from BHS, the event aims to bring awareness to mental health and addictions resources in the region. "Individuals will share their lived experiences through art forms, music, and poetry," the release said.
"This event is a great opportunity to learn more about what supports are available at Brightshores using art as a way to connect with members of our communities,” said Naomi Vodden, Director of Mental Health and Addictions Services at Brightshores. “We get a great turnout every year and look forward to providing people with engaging conversations in a safe, inclusive environment surrounded by art.”
The event is free to attend and will happen on on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 11am to 2pm at the Owen Sound Farmers' Market, 88 8th Street East.
