The Saugeen Shores Police Service in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner are currently investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Southampton on May 16, 2025.
At approximately 10:30pm Saugeen Shores Police and emergency services responded to a private property in the town of Southampton for a collision involving two dirt bikes.
A 22-year-old male of Saugeen Shores was pronounced deceased at the scene and a 23-year-old male of Saugeen Shores was transported to a trauma centre where at the time of publishing he remained in critical condition.
In a recent media release from Saugeen Shores Police, members of the Ontario Provincial Police Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team (T.I.M.E.) attended the scene on May 17th 2025 to assist with the investigation. The scene as has since been released.
