100 Women Who Care Grey Bruce (100WWCGB) recently launched their 2025 giving season with the largest donation to date, $33,200 to Victim Services Bruce Grey.

Victim Services is a community based organization that provides individuals and families facing crisis in Bruce and Grey counties with trauma informed care and support. They were selected by a membership vote at 100WWCGB's April meeting.

"We are deeply honoured to receive this incredible support from 100 Women Who Care Grey Bruce," said Jane Hartley, Executive Director of Victim Services Bruce Grey. "Their generosity will have a direct and lasting impact, allowing us to reach more victims and survivors across our communities with critical, compassionate care when it is needed most."

In a recent media release from 100WWC, Victim Services Bruce Grey provides immediate emotional and practical assistance to individuals affected by crime, tragic circumstances, and disaster throughout Bruce and Grey Counties. Their team of trained staff and community volunteers operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, working closely with police, fire, EMS, and other emergency services to support victims during some of the most difficult moments in their lives.

In addition to crisis intervention and emotional support, the organization conducts needs assessments, safety planning, and referrals to long-term resources. They also administer emergency financial assistance through the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services’ Victim Quick Response Program, the release added.

The recent donation from 100WWC will help enhance Victim Services' mobile trauma response service and expand outreach to ensure no victim is left without support. The organization continues to support a growing number of individuals with trauma-informed, culturally responsive care across both rural and urban communities.

Victim Services Bruce Grey welcomes both volunteers and donations to continue its work. To learn more, visit https://victim-services.com.
