One person has died following an incident that occurred on the Saugeen River in Paisley.
In a May 13, 2025 media release, South Bruce OPP, Bruce County Paramedic Services and Arran-Elderslie Fire and Emergency Services responded to a report of an individual in distress in the Saugeen River May 12, 2025 at just after 1:30pm.
The individual was brought to shore by members of the public where lifesaving measures took place.
A 25-year-old from Georgetown was pronounced deceased. The victim's identity will not be released at the request of the family.
