The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) Southport is pleased to offer a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to be granted to a woman, cis or trans/nonbinary, who is pursuing post-secondary education and/or training, or an apprenticeship program to prepare for a career in the Skilled Trades.

The applicant must be a woman, cis or trans/nonbinary and a resident of Bruce or Grey counties or Saugeen First Nation. They must provide proof of acceptance to or ongoing enrollment in a post-secondary program to pursue education, training or apprenticeship leading to a career in Skills Trades.

To apply, applicants must submit a letter that includes:
• Name, address, telephone number, email address
• Description and reasons why they should receive the scholarship, and their
aspirations for the future (maximum 500 words)
• Name and contact information of a personal reference
• Proof of acceptance to a post-secondary educational program leading to a career in Skilled
Trades

The deadline to apply is June 30, 2025.
