Hats off to Easter at Chantry Centre's Easter lunch

Bunny ears, Easter eggs, and a few fascinators were worn during the Chantry Senior’s Centre Easter Lunch April 11 in Southampton. The festive bunch were treated to a tasty lunch made by Barb Wilson and her many helpers, while some attendees were lucky enough to win a prize. The Centre’s President Sybil Mercer said that anyone who donned a special hat had an opportunity to win a special prize.

The Chantry Senior’s Centre, a longstanding hub of activity, is gearing up to host a part of the 30th annual Senior Games throughout the months of April and May. The Centre will host Euchre and 8-Ball competitions as well as the awards luncheon on May 19.

Two refurbished pool tables have been added in the Centre, which is gearing up for a summer season of new activities including Laughing for Life, a take on laughing yoga.
