There was plenty of activity in Coulter Parkette, downtown Port Elgin April 20 as the Port Elgin BIA hosted its fifth annual Easter Petting Zoo.

The animals, supplied from Tiger Paw from Arthur, Ontario, saw animals of all sorts including rabbits, ducks, chickens, donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs, a llama and a camel. Pony rides were also on offer.

The rain held off for most of the day giving children and their families a chance to interact with and feed the animals.

Llama

The stern stare of the Llama gave 3-year old Alex (left) and 5-year old Ana lots to laugh about at the Port Elgin BIA's Easter Petting Zoo.

Ducks

The ducks were paying close attention to the crowd, especially those who came with food.

Baby Goat

All the excitement was too much for some as these young kids took a mid-day nap next to their mother.
