Christmas market brings the festive spirit to Saugeen Shores

The “Home for the Holidays” Christmas Market at the Port Elgin Home Hardware, November 16, warmed hearts and bellies with local food fare, community artisans and Santa himself.

The Painted Pebble transformed many young faces into various animals and fantastical creatures.

Rabbit Dash Coffee House served up hot drinks while The Wismer House and Queen’s Bar & Grill dished out hearty foods to keep local shoppers fully fuelled to browse through the vendors and decorating ideas.

In addition to taking time out of his busy schedule to pose for photos with those in attendance, Santa was on hand collecting donations for the Dorrell Young Christmas Program.

Members of the Saugeen Shores Allegro Youth Chorus serenaded the steady stream of guests with delightful carols at the “Home for the Holidays” Christmas Market in Port Elgin, November 16.
