A recent dining event in downtown Southampton raised funds for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.

In a submission to Saugeen Shores Hub, EAT_Alley! was held June 2 and was an outdoor dining experience in the alley between Southampton Olive Oil Company and Hills Insurance on High Street in downtown Southampton. The event was sold out within days of tickets going on sale.

Despite the chilly weather guests enjoyed a five course Italian family style dinner in a stylish setting prepared by various Saugeen Shores businesses including Southampton Olive Oil Company, Little Black Dog Catering, Ristorante Rosina, Rabbit Dash, Cathy's Flowers 'n Treasures and Southampton Meat Market.

Guests had the opportunity to make a donation in support of SMHF and raised a total of $2,275.
