PRANCE, a non-profit charitable organization is located on Highway 21 between Port Elgin and Southampton. Their therapeutic riding program is used for rehabilitation and treatment of physically, developmentally or emotionally challenged persons through horseback riding.

The fundraising event will include an afternoon of family fun and activities. “There's going to be demonstrations with one of our therapeutic riders, pony rides, pictures on a horse, a horseless horse race, where the kids will get prizes and ribbons,” said PRANCE Operations Manager and Volunteer Co-ordinator, Ann Veyvara-Divinski, who added that there will be other activities, including wagon rides from 2pm to 4pm.

The activities will run on a token system where you can purchase 10 tokens for $10 and each event is worth so many tokens. Any monies raised at the event is being matched by Scotiabank. “They're going to match dollar for dollar what we make,” she said, adding that all funds will go to help programs.

The fish dinner is $15 for adults and $10 for kids and will run between 4pm and 6pm. Children under 3 eat free.

There's no rain date for this event, instead activities will be moved indoors.
