Some hairy companions paid a visit to Kingsway Arms at Elgin Lodge, in Port Elgin on June 22. Giddy Up N’ Go Ponies from Dundalk set up tents and displayed a variety of animals from ponies to goats, a llama, ducks and even a pig who received an oil bath.

The residents of Elgin Lodge were dutiful hosts and invited neighbouring students from Northport Elementary School to walk over and see and play with some of the animals.

Elgin Lodge Marketing Director Monique Niklaus said this is one of many ongoing events organized for the residents of the Lodge and that they were “really excited” about the animals paying a visit.
