The Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation Executive Director Tracy Murray received a cheque for $635 raised from the Ball Weekend Home Run Derby Fundraiser.

Slo-Pitch League Presidents Connor Yourth and Anne MacKay, along with league sponsor Jeff Carver, presented the cheque to Murray October 30 at the Wismer House in Port Elgin. The money was a result of $5 donated from Carver, owner of the Wismer House, for every home run hit during the annual Slo-Pitch Ball Weekend that took place in August.

The Wismer House also donated gift certificates for the top home run hitters in each of the A, B and C divisions for the Men's and Women's leagues.

Gord’s Pro Shop donated prize ball bags for the Women's League MVPs.
