Women's House to tackle the topic of abortion access in an October 30 documentary screening

On Wednesday, October 30, Women's House Serving Bruce and Grey will be tackling the topic of abortion and abortion access with a presentation of the documentary 'Plan C' at Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre, 33 Victoria Street North in Southampton.

The event is set to get underway at 6pm and tickets can be purchased at Larkspur Books in Southampton and Blackboard Sound in Port Elgin.

Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. In association with Dizzy Bird Coffee and Cause We Can Bruce Grey, a VIP ticket is also available for $25 and includes a poster and a post screening discussion at Dizzy Bird, 192 High Street in Southampton.

'Plan C' is a documentary by award-winning filmmaker Tracy Droz Tragos and captures the work of an organization by the same name who, according to their website, began mailing abortion pills to US citizens during the pandemic and "in the face of crumbling reproduction rights and access across the US."
