Air Cadets place third in shooting competition

CadetsFull1The cadets from 340 Royal Canadian Air Cadets, Port Elgin won third place in the zone 9 shooting competition held at the Knights of Columbus Hall (Wescast Communitity Complex) in Wingham this past Saturday, February 20.

The team consisted of Rahul Pandya, Noah Aasman, Colin Little-Hokea, Adrian Schwandt and Noah Walmann. Rahul Pandya also won first place in the open junior category.

Eight teams competed: Port Elgin, Kincardine, Mount Forest, Wingham, Hanover, Listowel, Brussels and Palmerston.

Marksmanship is one of the many facets of Cadet training and the cadets from Port Elgin did themselves proud.
