Lamont Sports Park a final contender for Project Play's $250,000 grand prize

Saugeen Shores has made it through to the final four contenders in the Kraft Heinz Project Play 2019 with a chance to win a grand prize of $250,000 for Lamont Sports Park. The announcement came October 12 from Kraft Heinz, TSN, and RDS with voting set to take place at kraftheinzprojectplay.com between October 18 at 12 p.m. to October 20 at 12 p.m.

The grand prize winner will be announced on Monday, October 21 at 6 p.m. on the ET edition of TSN's SportsCentre. Each of the other three finalists will receive $25,000.

The final four were selected by a panel of judges based on various criteria such as the project's importance within the community, the community's spirit and passion for play and the number of stories submitted by the community during the nomination project.

Joining Saugeen Shores in the final four is Nepean, Ontario; Lanigan, Saskatchewan; and Salmon Arm, British Columbia.
