RTO7 offering COVID-19 recovery support for the tourism industry

RTO7 is looking for applications for COVID-19 recovery support to help the tourism sector. It is geared to assist tourism operators, business and organizations as they recover from the effects COVID-19 has had on the tourism industry.

"If your business has had capital expenditures related to COVID-19 safety and security, RTO7 is able to reimburse a minimum of $500 up to a maximum of $2,000 pre-tax towards your matching investment," read a recent media release from RTO7.

Included are patio expansions at restaurants to accommodate more patrons, furniture, heaters, barriers, large scale sanitation equipment, booking and POS systems, and more.

Applications will be on handled a first come, first served basis and eligible applications must have been in business a minimum of one year from the date of the application and must currently be serving tourism consumers in Bruce Grey Simcoe.
