The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre (BCM&CC) is very grateful for the support they have received from the community through their Have a Seat Campaign and wish to thank everyone who donated and made this fundraiser a success.

In a November 27 media release, the Have a Seat Campaign offered donors a seat and personalized plaque in the Museum's 108-seat theatre, with most people dedicating theirs to family, loved ones or a special day like an anniversary, in return for a $150 donation.

“Our success is made possible by the support we receive from our donors,” said Maria Canton, BCM&CC Development Officer. “We’d like to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped to make this campaign a success.”

"Commemorative donations are a meaningful way to honour a friend, your family or to mark a special day while also supporting the Museum," read the release. "When you make a memorial or honorary gift to the Museum, the honouree will be notified of your thoughtful tribute."

With Giving Tuesday fast approaching on December 1, as well as end-of-year donations, commemorative donations are a meaningful way to honour a friend, your family or to mark a special day, while also supporting the Museum, read the release. The generosity of the Museum’s donors means that BCM&CC can continue to operate. You can make your donation online at brucemuseum.ca or contact Maria Canton at 226-909-2881 or mcanton@brucecounty.on.ca.
