Port Elgin Rotary's annual golf tournament changes its date for 2024

"We're shaking things up this year," read a recent media release from the Port Elgin Rotary Club.

Their annual Golf Tournament has been moved ahead one week and is set for July 12, 2024.

"This change in date promises to elevate the event to new heights," read the release. "We can't wait to share the excitement with you all at the same familiar place."

Registrations are open online and the format will be a four person scramble. Registration includes lunch, dinner, a cart and 18 holes of golf for $640 plus a $10 booking fee.

Registration and lunch is set to get underway at 11am with a shotgun start set for noon.

Dinner, speeches and prizes will take place at 5:30pm.

Mulligan and contests on the course and prizes for Closest to the Pin, Longest Putt and Longest Drive.

An optional Poker Run will also be available for an additional $40 plus a $5 booking fee. Five cards upon arrival with more cards available to purchase at the tournament for $10 each to a maximum of three. Process of elimination determines the best hand with the grand Prize being 75 percent of the pot.
